Do these three things first
Do not download a “full build.” Unreleased game archives are an ideal lure for password stealers and remote-access malware.
Do not connect a wallet. A video, poll or manifesto never needs token approval to be viewed.
Do not trust a handle by appearance. Copycats can duplicate names, avatars and old posts. Edited timestamps can manufacture fake history.
Common bait patterns
- “GTA6_PC_BUILD.zip” or password-protected archives.
- Videos that require a codec, browser extension or “anti-DMCA player.”
- Giveaways that ask for a small verification payment.
- Support agents who ask for a seed phrase or remote access.
- Clone Telegram, X or Discord accounts claiming to be a backup channel.
Where to check instead
Use Rockstar's official GTA VI page for release information. Use established news reporting for the legal story. This desk offers a spoiler-light GTA 6 leaks index and never distributes files.
Share the warning, not the payload
When correcting a scam post, share a screenshot with the wallet address and download URL obscured. Repeating a live malicious link can create more victims.
